Background

Currently, the threat of cyberattacks has been on the rise as an increasing number of companies use the cloud and digital transformation is accelerated. In Japan, vulnerability diagnosis is taking root as a countermeasure. It is often performed before a system is released or a periodic diagnosis is conducted while the system is in operation. The INTELLILINK Managed Diagnostic Service for Web Applications realized by the collaboration of NTT DATA INTELLILINK with the Aeye Security Lab has been steadily extending its track record of diagnoses since its launch in June 2023.
If we turn to other countries in the APAC region, we note that they can barely maintain a minimal security level, hindered by a shortage of HR resources and the costs of vulnerability measures. Concerned about supply chain risks, Japanese companies based in the APAC region and those that deal with companies in the APAC region have an ever-increasing need for security. Therefore, we aim to contribute to an improved security level for the entire region by providing our managed diagnostic service with proven results in Japan for the APAC region.

Overview of the Collaboration

We will build a diagnostic structure for the APAC region by adjusting the service specifications of the INTELLILINK Managed Diagnostic Service for Web Applications provided for domestic use in Japan. We will then gradually roll out the services for NTT DATA Group companies in the APAC region. In the future, we hope to expand our services to NTT DATA Group customers.

Overview of the INTELLILINK Managed Diagnostic Service for Web Applications

In this service, NTT DATA INTELLILINK diagnoses web applications on the customer’s website. Taking advantage of the AeyeScan provided by the Aeye Security Lab, we can deliver a speedier diagnosis of web applications at a lower cost. Customers can take effective measures as inspectors from NTT DATA INTELLILINK provide advisory services for the inspection results and countermeasures.

What is AeyeScan?

The utilization of state-of-the-art technologies such as AI and RPA can automate security diagnosis, which thus far has required human (manual) operation. AeyeScan is a cloud-based vulnerability diagnostic tool for web applications, realizing an easy and highly accurate diagnosis that anyone can perform at any time.

Prospective Business Development

Aligning with NTT DATA, Inc., which is also strong in overseas business to take advantage of NTT DATA Group’s strengths, we intend to roll out the fields of finance, public sector, and enterprises in the region through eight NTT DATA Group companies based in the APAC region.
